Q: I have been to a lot of health care providers. What is unique
about Hill Park Medical Center?
A: We are different than most medical practices in our philosophy of care and healing. Integrative medicine as a new model of health care offers you a very different health care experience. We offer you time, care and expertise. The practitioners talk to you about your needs and your choices and we work collaboratively with you and your other health care providers to help you get the kind of care that really makes a difference in your life.
Q: Do you take insurance?
A: Currently some of our practitioners accept Workers Compensation
Insurance and Automobile Liability Insurance. For all other insurance carriers we provide
you with a "superbill" which you then submit to your own
health insurance company. We provide accurate diagnosis and procedure
codes to help increase your reimbursement levels. Most health insurance
companies reimburse you for the physician visit and many do so for
acupuncture.
Q: How do I know which practitioner to see?
A: Our office staff is extremely knowledgeable about our
practitioners and will gladly help you decide which practitioner
will be best for you.
Q: How much time does each appointment take?
A: The kind of healthcare we practice takes time. Your first
appointment will take between 60–90 minutes. Your practitioner will
be asking you a lot of questions to really get to know you and your
health concerns. Together, you will put together a treatment plan.
Your follow-up visits are between 30-60 minutes.
Q: How many treatments will I need?
A: This will depend on your specific needs and how well you
respond to treatment. After your initial visit you and your practitioner
will create a treatment plan.
Q: Are you accepting new patients?
A: Yes, we are currently accepting new patients. Depending
on which practitioner you are planning to see your wait could be
up to three weeks.
Q: Do you have primary care doctors?
A: We treat many of the same kinds of health needs as primary
care doctors, but our doctors are not on call and do not admit patients
to the hospital. We are happy to handle problems that arise during
office hours, but strongly suggest that you have a primary care
physician for urgent or after hours medical problems.
Q: Im interested in Bio-Identical (natural) hormone therapy.
Do you have any doctors who specialize in that?
A: We have two physicians on staff who specialize in natural
hormone therapy for menopause and menstrual problems.
Q: Do you treat children?
A: Although we are not a primary care pediatric facility,
all of our practitioners see children for a wide variety of health
problems, such as allergies, recurrent infections, abdominal pain
and headaches.
Q: Do you have anyone who specializes in nutritional counseling?
A: Yes, we have a comprehensive weight loss program that
also focuses on healthy meal planning and a physician who specializes
in nutritional testing and recommendations for a wide variety of
medical conditions, such as inflammation, allergies, intestinal
problems, and heart disease.
Q: I was referred to you for cancer support. What can you do
for me?
A: There are many ways to help you through the difficulty
of undergoing cancer treatment. Acupuncture can not only help support
your immune system, but is also useful to decrease chemotherapy
side effects. Nutritional supplementation and specific Chinese herbs
can also help to protect normal cells against damaging effects and
increase effectiveness of conventional cancer treatments. You can
also visit www.drbouch.com
for more info. We also can offer alternatives to conventional cancer treatment.
Q: Do you have any doctors who specialize in Lyme Disease?

of Lyme Disease in all phases.
